Violet Coral

A rare fungus in Scotland with four known records for the Outer Hebrides. The 2014 record for St Kilda was relocated recently. There are two for Harris and one for Lewis. It's named after the Swiss botanist Heinrich Zollinger. It's found in open woodland and unimproved grassland.
