Rhizocarpon richardii (Lamy ex Nyl.) Zahlbr.
Type: Crustose
Brown to greyish-brown, areolate-cracked thallus, often with a fimbriate blackish-brown prothallus. Inset flattish, black apothecia with thin margins. Very common on siliceous coastal rocks forming mosaics.
