Type: Foliose
Blue-grey to brownish or ash-grey when dry, with a densely densely felted-tomentose, bullate surface.Under-surface with prominent veins bottle-brush shaped rhizines. Very common and found in a wide range of habitats, particularly around mossy trees, in moist grassland and dunes
